On the far north of the grand Continent, lies the vast kingdoms of Arcadia, where in the past during the glorious days of the Empire, the High Wizards held their reign. Arcadian kingdoms were known far and wide, and almost every race and nation of the Continent has heard of its great glory and fame. Tales of high towers covered in silver, rich streets with many people, a smell of magic in the air, and old Dragons from the north guarding the skies above. But the most famous story is the one of the Order of Arcadian Soldiers, the special breed of knights that everyone has heard of, but no one saw. Warriors who embarked on the most dangerous tasks, battles, and quests all in the service of the High Wizards. Nobody knew exactly how many of them were, but it is said in an ancient prophecy that one of them will lead a final battle against an evil entity when the time is right.

Centuries passed, and the kingdom stood strong, but darkness is always lurking.
The High Wizards made a pact with the Dark god, who corrupted their old minds, and through them began his reign of terror. He was scared of the prophecy that said that one Arcadian warrior will be His demise, so he began destroying the whole Arcadian kingdom.

These days, as time has passed, the tales turned into myths and legends, but still somewhere on the lost roads of the wide Continent, a story is told. Not so often some traveling bard or some old merchant sitting by the fire will start a long-forgotten story…

“Once, during the early ages of the Continent, a special order of warriors existed, assembled by the High Wizards, masters of sorcery.
The order consisted of a number of soldiers, gifted individuals who were able to defend the kingdoms from the ancient creatures of the night, who were a threat to common people. The warriors were granted powerful spells and weapons, and followed the orders of the High Wizards, destroying and killing everything they were told.
But a time came when it was found that the Wizards were indeed corrupted by the ancient dark deity, killing and torturing people and other creatures for their blood and souls. The order of Arcadian soldiers fought the wizards. The battle was fierce, and the whole kingdom of Arcadia was engulfed by spells and flames. The earth crumbled and all strongholds were destroyed. At last, the order was winning, they had pushed the wizards into a dead end, and began slaughtering them for what they have done. But the last wizard, on his dying breath, casted a great dark spell, causing massive fire to consume them all. They all perished, or so it seemed.
The one has survived, the last living warrior of the Arcadian empire. He has sworn to serve only himself, but his biggest battle is yet to be won. He was only a child when he was recruited. His home lies far away behind the White Mountains. He embarks on a long journey and wanders the lands known and unknown. The path will lead him through magickal lands of dragons and sorcery, where his powers and wisdom are tested.
He roams through forests and hills, lost and cursed to never find his way home, where he can rest his soul and bury his sword. But destiny has other plans. This is only the beginning of his journey, the journey of the last Arcadian warrior.”
